Sae-1000d Linking

I just picked up 2 SAE-1000D's and was reading over the manual on how to hook them up. I had a couple of questions and hope someone on here could answer them for me.

1) Can I just run my RCA's into one unit and use the BR out and run a single RCA into the BR in of the other amp?

2) This should allow me to use just one bass knob right?

3) Will I also still have to fine tune both amps? (ie gain, subsonic, and so on)

If someone thinks there is another way of doing this please feel free to give suggestions

Head Unit: Alpine CDA 9887

1) Can I just run my RCA's into one unit and use the BR out and run a single RCA into the BR in of the other amp? That will be fine. The amp that you use for the positive speaker wire need to have the RCA's hooked up to it.

2) This should allow me to use just one bass knob right? Yes

3) Will I also still have to fine tune both amps? (ie gain, subsonic, and so on) NO
