MaX Posted January 14, 2009 Report Share Posted January 14, 2009 well let me start by saying that I'm going to be installing my system in the next 2-3 weeks( I would have already had it done by now, but i decided to be a dumbass and get into a wee bit of trouble haha) anyways, I have two 12 inch FI BL's and an AQ 2200d...the subs are 1 ohm dvc now my question is, would I be ok to wire the subs down to .5 ohms and connect it to the amp? Or just leave both in series and stay at 1 ohm the reason being, if I leave them at 1 ohm I'm going to have to stretch some speaker wire around the inside of my box, which I really dont want to do.
