Team_DC-Derrick
yes, ok take a DMM to see what ohms your subs are sitting at, find out what impedance you want your amp at and wire accordingly, also make sure not to cross over any wires which could possibly be the problem right now. Team_DC-Derrick
do you have it wired to your amp at 2 ohms or 1 ohm? me personally i would take my subs out check them to be on th safe side *you never know could have a d4 and a d2 in the box... check them then re wire them and try to make the wire the same length and wire up to the amp the speakers that i looked up the 5500 says its d4 which you can either wire them up to 1 ohm or 4 ohm http://www.the12volt.com/12voltimages/2_4ohm_dvc_1ohm.gif http://www.the12volt.com/12voltimages/2_4ohm_dvc_4ohm.gif Edited January 15, 2009 by Army_guy614 Quote The DC Integra 3 18s to 6 15 build log Team_DC-Derrick's Youtube Team DC Audio where theres a will theres a wall....... Team_DC-Derrick
http://www.mtx.com/caraudio/products/subwo...thunder5500.cfm says otherwise.. unless you are running diffrent subs you got d4 *edit you was looking at enclosures btw not the subwoofers Edited January 15, 2009 by Army_guy614 Quote The DC Integra 3 18s to 6 15 build log Team_DC-Derrick's Youtube Team DC Audio where theres a will theres a wall....... Team_DC-Derrick
which is probably the way you have it wired up.. you can either go 4 ohms or 1 ohm with your subs, and you should try to wire it up as so...
