Forevrbumpn Posted January 17, 2009 Author Report Posted January 17, 2009 Thats a damn good score in a trunk car I did some numbers on the box, as is its tuned to about 44hz, I will have tone that done, but on BB6.0 with these subs, they play nicely freq response wise, no huge peaks, just pretty smooth to about 40hz, and rolls off from there If Iam going to cut the rear deck up, I might as well "Tune" the cut out with a kind of port to tune, do some sweeps and see what the rear deck port will like Quote I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.

This guy is a good friend, and a good customer, comes by about every 4-6 months to change things around in his car/cars for the past 4-5 years now. So, newest change was to swap from 2-15s, to a single 18" I change the port around to make its smaller for a more musical sound, and lower tuning, and built up a 18" using a oldschool Blue print motor, 2.5" winding width coil, 4-9.25" spiders, so the sub is pretty stiff. Since the original build, I had rebuilt the 2- 15"s subs again to compensate for the newer amplifier. Now 18s going in, well is in Nothing to special, still the same floor board raised spare tire box With the 18, it sounds alot better, cleaner, and just over all better- 1 sub over two subs FTW ^ second set of old subs, still great, slammed really hard, look sexy think he is selling them new 18"- blue print motor as I said, nothing to special just flat, clean, and simple, and budgeted Iam trying to talk him in to doing a wall, and save the trunk for amps, and batteries, since his back seat isnt used at all Quote I have a ritual called "terminator".
