Google Sketchup

I was wondering if anyone has a good video or tutorial page they used to learn how to make subwoofer box designs and such through google sketchup. I can get the jist of it, but if there is some site with all of the information in one place I would like to take a peek at it

Also, is there a good place for subwoofer models to put in the box that I create?

nope theres no site, its just playing with it after the watch the included tutorials that came with it

The only thing you need to build boxes is the line tool and the push pull tool. When you click the line tool, move it in the direction you want it to go and type in how far you want it to go (.75" for MDF thickness) and hit enter. It's really simple to build boxes with it.

i just learned by playing with it, first i built a simple sub box disign (just a rectangle with a hole in it), then i built a new computer desk, then i tried to model my game/comp room, and just whatever was in my head i would try to build it. After a few sketch's you start to figure out tips and tricks and ways to make things go a little faster. You can try searching on youtube for time laps vids of ppl building things and you can learn a few things from there, but i havent yet found a site that has many tutorials for sketchup.

Oh and dont forget to go to: view > toolbars > large tool set, cuz when u first get the program they only show the getting started tool set.

Now how do you get it to show the dimensions on the lines it self? kind of like a blue print.
