chewie Posted January 27, 2009 Report Share Posted January 27, 2009 (edited) not saying that one bit. but 10s and 12s do naturally hit highers more efficently because of their lower cone mass.. lower mass = faster cycle times and personally i dont see a point in listening to lower frequency songs unless you have 15s or 18s .. or multiple 10s or 12s (4 or more) cause you dont get the air movement and that feeling of someone kicking you in your back. unless you have some speakers with high excursion then it makes up for the lack of cone area.
