Type R ?

i have a 98 acura tl 3.2,i would like an opinion. what would you think about two 12 " type r in a slot port of course or (1) 15" type r in a slot box. or just give me an idea remember i'm not rich keep it a decent price. i wanting to start i new system. i a tempery one a 12 on a 900 watt rms better that nothing. also what about hifonics amp i know there a bit over rated but how about a 1200 watt rms on those type r 12"s or a 15" i just need some diffrent thoughts. thank you troy

I would get a DC 15" lvl 4. It's around the same price range as two alpine 12" type R's

ied do 2 12's for cone area, but in the right aplication a 15 can get just as loud, i myself like 15's better cause of the lower toned bass notes, but i also like 12's cause there louder but take more airspace, ied try to give each type r 12 with around 500rms, and 15 with around 750+

The 2 12" Type R set-up sounds good with a Hifonics 1200RMS amp. Just build your own box, don't get a pre-fab. Its cheaper and all around better.
