Kian Posted January 27, 2009 Author Report Posted January 27, 2009 no it just stays @ 11.3 when i drive it's not going up. when i turn my lights on, it goes down to 11.2 then will go back up ot 11.3-.4 after i turn my lights off. right now i think i am running my car straight off my batteries. itssteve Posted January 27, 2009 Report Posted January 27, 2009 ok well check the other two with a dmm on both sides of the plug and make sure you are getting a switch voltage, and you will also have a constant voltage wire. the thicker one should be constant and the other switch. that was my problem the plug corroded and no voltage could get through to turn the alt on. and mechman said that over time some plugs will do this. So what i'm going to do is have my alt running off of my accessory . line so when my car turns on the alt will turn on. THANK YOU.
