Diablo Audio Technologies Posted January 31, 2009 Report Share Posted January 31, 2009 hm- i've been wanting to change that fuel filter for some time now...the only thing that turns me away from Air/spark/fuel and most pre ignition issues is that it revs Amazing in N or P, if it was in the fuel line or a spark issue then it should also fail in those two gears right? -Drew nope totally diff, no load on the engine. bonez1203 Posted January 31, 2009 Report Share Posted January 31, 2009 what make, model and engine is the car? it sounds to me like mass airflow sensor or the tps. but it also sounds like it could be the filter but if the cat was bad you wouldn't be able to rev at anytime. just me 2cents: also when the check engine light comes on don't try and get it to go away! try and find someone with a scanner and see what the codes are!! i know autozone up here will put the scanner on it up for free!
