RamenNoodles
I would use his trade-in program and get two 1500ds.... x2 x3 x4 x5 Quote Diablo Audio Technologies Fi Car Audio Ascendant Audio
creyc
hehe I think keeping the gains at 1500 would be just about identical to getting two 1500Ds! (and cheaper) I suppose it's my bad experiences running these sundown amps to their max which makes me hesitant about going for the 1500s...I wonder how long they would last at full output? Torres
i have 2 3000D's linked and i have no problem with either of them granted one to wire would be easier. tho for output i'd sacrifice a lil ease and simplicity
Ben Building
If you absolutely have to keep the amp, why not trade for some dual 4 or dual 1 ohm subs? The way I see it, you've paid for amp power you're not getting right now. If you didn't want more volume, we wouldn't be reading this post. In order to get your components to perform to their full potential, you're gonna have to switch SOMEthing. lol
creyc
I think I'll just add two more dual-2 havocs, dropping the load from 2-ohm to 1-ohm AND putting less strain on each individual coil, since it was brought up these aren't really SPL subs. Best of both worlds IMO. 750 per Havoc should sound great, too.
