IAMBUMP Posted February 2, 2009 Report Posted February 2, 2009 I have a regular cab Toyota, and want something pretty loud in it. I want to spend ~2000 total, aside from a headunit. I am no fan of any company in particular but I dont want to run JL or similar. I want to run "independant" companies I guess you would call it. I know that stereo integrity is coming out with a shallow mount BM sub..but I don't know if I want to do something like that or run a console setup. What I was thinking about doing was to run a console, and then port it behind each seat. A couple 12's or a few 10's. For amps, I don't have a clue, I guess sundown is at the top right now but I don't know who else I would look at for amps. If I run 2 12's I want 2 amps. If I run 3 10's I want one, or two that can be stacked. I plan on buying/having built a 200 amp alt, and a couple batteries. What's everyone think? AI James Posted February 2, 2009 Report Posted February 2, 2009 look at RE Sl subs if you decide to look at slimlines, they looked pretty impressive to me for a slimline woofer. If your going to use a conventional woofer DC's lineup has a little somethign for everyones needs from SQ up to retardedly loud. I'd look at the DAT 2500.1 if you want about 3krms and the Dat 1000.1 if your looing for somethign smaller that is still capable for amps. As for batteries i like Powermasters but kinetik has nothign wrong with it as well.

IAMBUMP Posted February 2, 2009 Author Report Posted February 2, 2009 Blowthrough with 4 15's Thats just my suggestion lol, you might be able to fit 4 shallow mount 12's back there idk toyota center consoles are awefully tiny too cant do the blow thru, full custom frame with a crossmember right behind the cab. i really need the truck back to see what i can do. maybe i can do 4 real nice 8's in the console. i loved my RE8's and they were fairly loud. I just don't want to be any less output wise than my previous setups. AI James Posted February 2, 2009 Report Posted February 2, 2009 Multiple SL's should put you were you want to be no problem, run 3-4 of them on some power and youll be plenty loud for a daily single cab
