Or 18" from front batt to trunk batt, And on the same wire 18" from rear batt, and then 1 from rear batt to amp? So 2 or 3 fuses? Guest KyleCannon
I would say 2 fuses. 18 inches max to the batteries. If you want to protect your amps further, fuse by the amps as well. Edited February 3, 2009 by KyleCannon

c0smo kram3r
You want one fuse 16" or closer away from the front battery on the Positive line. Then you want another on the rear battery at most 16" away from the rear battery. So when you get through, you should have two fuses on the same cable each very close to its own battery. Then if your amp is not internally fused, wire another b/t the rear battery & the amp. Edited February 3, 2009 by c0smo kram3r

I have the RF t-1000-1 It has a built in 100 amp fuse, so does that mean that i dont have to fuse it to the rear battery? Guest KyleCannon
No, if you don't fuse the battery and it shorts the battery can explode. The amp fuse would only protect the amp.
