I am going to be running about 4-5k watts total when my build is completly finished. I will be needing to upgrade my electrical sometime very soon. I was thinking of maybe doing dual or triple alts, but i cannot find anyone that makes brackets or kits for my truck. I guess if nobody knows wehre to find one of these kits or bracket, i will have to just get one 300 amp alt alone. But i would rather have two to three alts.

truck has a 5.0 305 small block in it.. its a vortec motor..

http://www.nationsautoelectric.com/dualalternator.html Really pricey there. Comes with an alternator but I do not see the brackets separate, they do have wires/harnesses though at the bottom. Says for '99 and up, but it looks like it could be made to work with any year for the most part as long as you have room.

one the 99 up will not work, they have to be modded like crazy.. i would rather make one myself... and two thats way out of my price range..

But thanks... Maybe if i can find on about half that price at least.. :(

I was looking myself and that was really about all I could find. I am going to build my own bracket for my 94 S10 Blazer. Doesn't look like it would be all that difficult so that may be the best option for you as well?

If your planning on just running stock alternators or any other version of the stock alt you have we have a killer triple bracket for the old school 5.7's that runs the dual spool AD or CS144 alts... $349 and that is everything included, hardware, idler pulleys, bracing, belt etc... There are some pics and a video in our manufacturer section, it was on a 4.3L V-6 but its the same kit for either motor.. Rob

Why's that? You can run any of the GM alts in that bracket.... Duals or Triples on any '92-'99 5.7L or 4.3L...

This kit will work on any 305/350 in any of the GM trucks or SUV's unless its running a non-stock front end accessory drive.. We have a different bracket for the 4.8, 5.3, 6.0 or 6.2's for the '99 up vehicles as well.. I'm cutting more plates tomorrow so availability isn't a problem. Give me a call if you have any questions about the kits, 888-441-0144 Rob
