qu1cks1lver56
wasnt sure where to post this, but ive seen on several people's boxes where they had like a raised RF logo or something under the carpet. i was just wondering how to do that, i think it looks great. thanks. c0smo kram3r
I was also curious on this. I saw an AQ logo on a box one time. It looked nice.
Team Nemesis-DJ
It's pretty easy ,first you take the logo and you will trace it out on some 1/4 or 1/2 ......then you can add that whereever you want it on you box ...
sammyboom63
i've used either luan or rubberized foam. just cut the wood or foam to what ever you like and glue the carpet over. not to hard to do but adds a nice custom touch. qu1cks1lver56
lol cardboard works pretty well for this too never thought of that. good way to not waste wood if you fuck up too. lol Quote First Gen Xterra: Always changing DNX 690HD RF 360.3RF T3002RF T4004RF T10001bdSilver Flute 6.5"s Tang Band 1" TweetersSundown X18 in 7cubes net tuned to 32hz Trust me .25 Blows your Load. emperorjj1
ya it really depends on the situation... we do the cardboard more often for the more complex logos and the actual wood less often and only for easy logos. cardboard is alot easier to work with and can be trimmed ect easily, it also has varying thicknesses and is easier to carpet/looks better once carpeted. since it compresses the finished product normally turns out better. wood is solid so really unless you stretch the carpet and get it to conform with the logo very well it doesnt turn out as good as the cardboard. its hard to explain but trust me on this one. any slopes makes it look like a bad carpet job instead of an actual logo it takes a few fuck ups to get the feel for what works and what doesnt Quote J.
