audiogod9000 Posted January 20, 2010 Report Posted January 20, 2010 you've got 2 sets of terminals on the 6.5" mid bassone is for the speaker wire going to the amp and the other is for the speaker wire coming from the tweeter they have a concealed crossover which means you run your tweeter wire to the midbass and lets say a 12 gauge run of speaker wire to your amp and that is channel 1 which will be run at 4 ohms Hey bro i have been thinking about getting those Same comps, ether that or im going to cheap out and get the Coaxial's, do u think theres a difference between them? and since you basically wire them in parallel does that mean the Tweet and Mid are 8ohms(Parallel 4ohms)? How much is it gonna drop your hoe? Now that I've got beat in my truck that would be really hard for me to do like you said its nice when your upset to just go out and beat! It cheers me up. Luckily to drop my truck 2" in the rear like I want to just requires some time, a lift, and being handy with tools DC AUDIO 06' Lancer
thehoe92 Posted January 20, 2010 Author Report Posted January 20, 2010 soooooo you got txt Hey bro i have been thinking about getting those Same comps, ether that or im going to cheap out and get the Coaxial's, do u think theres a difference between them?and since you basically wire them in parallel does that mean the Tweet and Mid are 8ohms(Parallel 4ohms)? (iv never really messed with Comps b4) I guess I never really checked them with a DMM but the final ohm load that the amps sees is 4 ohms I would recommend the comps just because they are not that much more money and you get to choose where you want your tweeter Damn, so your getting rid of the sub for now eh? stilltippin863 Posted January 20, 2010 Report Posted January 20, 2010 first part of the question maybe this will answer it.. you've got 2 sets of terminals on the 6.5" mid bass one is for the speaker wire going to the amp and the other is for the speaker wire coming from the tweeter they have a concealed crossover which means you run your tweeter wire to the midbass and lets say a 12 gauge run of speaker wire to your amp and that is channel 1 which will be run at 4 ohms I grounded my RCA's to the head unit and from the head unit I grounded to the frame.. that seemed to make it worse so I took all those wires off and the noise went away I have almost 0 engine noise.. it seems to only become audible when my voltage is low I still have static but that could be due to my EQ and I have heard wonders about the balanced line driver if thats what you are talking about.. RayTard used it and got rid of all noise in his system its been my loudest and cleanest sounding box so far.. thanks zak! well yeah i got thanking about it ...i do not really have all engine noise ..i have alot of static!!!...so i was thanking bout getting the 3sixty liner driver to see if that would fix the problem...??? do you thank it would?
n8ball2013 Posted January 20, 2010 Report Posted January 20, 2010 the static is coming from the head unit. thehoe92 Posted January 21, 2010 Author Report Posted January 21, 2010 well yeah i got thanking about it ...i do not really have all engine noise ..i have alot of static!!!...so i was thanking bout getting the 3sixty liner driver to see if that would fix the problem...??? do you thank it would? thehoe92 Posted January 21, 2010 Author Report Posted January 21, 2010 it could be my ghetto ass RCA's that I found in my garage maybe since I shipped my sub out today I'll switch the RCA from the t1k to the 300-2 and see if it goes away Wouldnt be thehoe92 without teh purple
