thehoe92 Posted February 9, 2010 Author Report Posted February 9, 2010 i said the same thing but i was so happy to see them gone.......i thought they made my truck look lower but they dont. If you like them, leave them but im just sayin i dont miss mine at all. Your 7 feet tall, you probably dont need to step on them ever :DI'll think about it, so far I like it on gives my tahoe character lol and I just put them on and they are a bitch to do.. don't want to put all that effort to waste I see you took off your roof rack, shit looks good that way! i would take mine off too if i didnt use it sometimes. if you still need that little piece I was talking about shoot me a text, I'll never sell my roof rack considering the lady that owned the hoe before me closed the garage door on it so its not worth selling but the end cap isn't effected not a stupid question - thats the first thing you should do when you lower that bitch....if you plan on keeping your tires longer then 6 months. last thing it says on the instructions of my lowering kit is to get it aligned after you do a test drive on a closed course get your truck aligned unless you plan on getting new tires soon. You will be sorry when your tire is brand new except for the steel belts hanging on one side and full tread on the other. Trust me, ive driven lowered cars, with hydraulics, with air, with static drops.......and i have wore out enough tires and FAST to know better. Those goodyear guys and that les shwab dude probably never owned a lowered car in their life. get that bitch aligned!! no no I'm not saying they are telling me NOT to get it aligned I'm saying they told me the negative camber won't effect the wear on the tires as much as some people think. I need to get a toe alignment and I'll be good to go P, you are right.....he will kick himself in the balls. Im surprised i have 3 kids from kicking myself in the balls so many times over the years. Im not innocent, i know whats happening here, i drove on steel belts many-a-time...this Tahoe was aligned right after the drop kit and a couple other times in the last 6 years, and never had a wear issue. Shitty ass KUMHO's fell apart but the tread was perfect. you want to send those pictures to my email? [email protected] "rubber band" tires should last just as long as any other tire if you have good alignment and you dont do doughnuts in the parking lot. Preston is not hating, he is right.......just tell him you know and move on I know P ain't hating I'm just giving him a hard time as much as my teenage ways want to say I know more I don't since this is my first time lowering a car let alone a full sized SUV on 24's thanks Steve! as for my purple rims.. if my tahoe wasn't a looker before in this town it sure is now I've got a wide response from them from people on the road.. girls following me looking at the purple.. tough ass dudes that just shake there head.. a lot of holy shit that is sick from a few youngsters .. I guess there aren't too many custom cars in the 916 that I know of oh and school this morning was interesting NO ONE has ever seen a tahoe sit as low as mine or on purple rims so everybody was pointing and staring Wouldnt be thehoe92 without teh purple
thehoe92 Posted February 9, 2010 Author Report Posted February 9, 2010 hey man wanted to let you know after seeing some of the newer pics Im not so against it anymore, It definatley does giveyour hoe a different look and it makes it pretty unique. Still personally not a fan of purple but that doesnt mean I dont think what your doin looks good. It definatley pops out more and Not that 24's are plain but adding that to them makes them look pretty sick. If your gonna stick with the purple theme you got any plans to do like a purple billet grille? I think that would look pretty sick too if your gonna stick with the purple, I got all chrome accents on my silverado and when I put the chrome grille on it just adds so much to the front end. I have to be careful from here on out with the purple the front end will have a pinstripe of purple around the chevy emblem and the rest will be body color SS front end like some of the pictures I posted before as for the interior it will be all purple LED's (gauges, lights, switches, air conditioning, etc.) and I looked at Katzkins and they don't have purple suede so I am going to do the original idea of black leather, black suede inserts and purple stitching for a very subtle look and not so in your face but thanks man your opinion is yours but I'm glad you could still see the side of me working hard to make them look nice even though you don't like the purple Wouldnt be thehoe92 without teh purple

thehoe92 Posted February 9, 2010 Author Report Posted February 9, 2010 The man has spoken /end build log its ok kasey i havent got my jeep aligned since the new rear springs! but my suspension is so sloppy i dont think it matters he has "spoken" before and my build log is now 75 pages long.. have you thought about helper bags.. oh shit look who I'm talking to.. nvm you and joe probably already talked about laying frame on the jeep Wouldnt be thehoe92 without teh purple
mr.p Posted February 9, 2010 Report Posted February 9, 2010 its been...discussed B) but i use the 4x4 when headin up to reno and big mud puddles....i think ill buy an off the shelf rear kit, and put the bags that go inside the coils on the front, and run a lil tank compressor...so itll drive just fine off springs but then i put some air in the bags to stiffen it up and get rid of some of the nose dive / body roll, make it a lil safer to drive.... from the weight helper front and rear would lift it a solid 2" DCAUDIO BALLS DEEP

thehoe92 Posted February 10, 2010 Author Report Posted February 10, 2010 those rims suit your truck really good with the purple, they look sick!! thank you! so if im thinking right u can only do drop spindels with a 2wd IIRC I can do spindles and keys if I wanted. CV angles are not effected that much to make a difference in the 4WD all I know is its been done for now I'm satisfied with a 3 inch drop and like my fender where it is on my car.. not in the middle of the freeway as I go over a bump at 75mph and since I only got night pictures of the purple and they didn't turn out that great... ass still needs to come down.. don't remind me passengers side not too bad as you can see there are some flaws.. its a rattle can what do you expect. we are going to repaint it soon flawless do the lug nuts too? or to much? what do you think? driving my friend home his street is pretty messed up, there was a dip and the bottom valence scraped I was so proud drivers side clearance still never got around to polishing, only glaze tire size I asked for the black BlackBear decal so it would be VERY subtle over my 5% I don't want to advertise that I can beat your little 2 door its rubbing there this picture reminds me I need to get to work on the ass smoked LED tail lights either escalade vent caps or smooth ones painted body color Wouldnt be thehoe92 without teh purple
