Shits looks sick! Ninja_Disappear_by_ChristianNinja.gif

I like the blacked out look, but those tires are looking rough lol keep that black bumper on, i think it looks way better than a roll pan, but thats just me.

Keep up the good work!

actually yes I did have one problem with the chrome under the front bumper it peeled off but it wasn't bad

I was surprised because it wasn't flaking it was just something that brushed up against it

I'm not worried though I just shot it again and its brand new.. I don't have a clear coat over it right now so its standing up surprisingly well right now

when I shoot the color over it is when it will get finished

right now its like a step 2 primer

I can't wait to put the charcoal over it and get an actual clear coat on it with a grill

but thanks :)

I'm going to go grab a picture of the front end right now since a couple things changed since the most current picture..

that primer looks scarily similar to the charcoal....or at least it does at a quick glance...

did you use a real high grit sandpaper on the chrome bumper first or did you just tape off and spray away?

its not really primer I'm just calling it that since its not the final coat

we all have painted wheels and my 2 buddy's wanted to strip theres down and repaint theres so they bought some stuff from home depot called stripper that is INTENSE!

you are supposed to use it on decks and let it soak for like 15 minutes but we put it in a spray bottle and shot the wheel and it came right off

anyways I first cleaned it up with quik detailer and a microfiber since it doesn't leave streaks

started spraying the gloss and it was running, bubbling, not looking good at all

so clean95 said spray flat down since thats what color his tahoe is and it didn't run, it will act as a primer since glossy already has clear in it so its not really sticking to the chrome

so I cleaned the bumper up with the stripper which took every bit of dirt off then wiped it down with the microfiber

shot 2 coats of flat and got it real even

then shot the glossy black over it and it turned out great

just need to lightly wetsand the black right now then shoot the color over it, let it dry then shoot some clear :)

day time running lights/signals niteshaded!

IMG_8695.jpg

not final, still needs to be wet sanded and I need to shoot a clear

the previous bowtie I had turned out like complete shit since I couldn't get the old paint off so I went to pick n pull and got a new one

I slapped this one on since it looks WAY better then the previous and its not even done

IMG_8696.jpg

the bowtie is also going to be the color of my rims

its my own creation

shoot glossy black down first then while its still slightly wet shoot some purple on

let that dry then shoot a couple coats of purple over it

since its metal cast, whatever is under it will determine the final color

IMG_8697.jpg

kinda like meades paint where at night is basically black then at certain lights you will see the purple

gives me the best of both worlds since I've wanted to see what my rims look like blacked out and I'm tired of people calling them pink
