Boon
o,... now i see how come some of these rules are the way they are lots of loop holes,..so i should be great with a 40 & a 50, in one line. ? NO! This will not work. If you put fuses in series the lowest one will blow first, so it'll pop when your current hits 40A = fail If you put them in parallel, it will pop when half the current equals the smallest fuse = 80A = fail Use a 100A fuse... RHoughton1
Exactly. Or two 40's and watch the volume? I ran a 50 and a 20 in my fuse holder and it did not blow and I clamped right at 100 amps current.. They have to be side by side inline will not work....weakest link will blow inline.
