B Slaps Posted February 14, 2009 Report Share Posted February 14, 2009 ok im gonna try and give you some advice without getting reamed by a mod. i believe the brown wire is just a hot wire from the ignition that tells the alt to charge. if you tap the extra alt off of that one to the extra alt, should tell it to charge. same thing i did for my rex with the gm 300 amp. found the ignition wire off of the plug and tapped it to the extra alt .it will just let the alt know to charge, also it needs to have a load on it before it will put out volts. hope this is some help to you.
