owning both p3s and these i found these to be better overall

i know im gonna catch flack for this ...

cerwin vega vmax woofers. they are only 600 rms have dual 7 inch spiders and a 2.5 inc voice coil.. i can get em here for around 99 apeice. and they sounded better than my p3s .the sound quaility was much better and they got louder..

or check out what i found

OR EVEN BETTER

http://columbia.craigslist.org/ele/1013500044.html

build a dual 12 box and keep one as a spare.. thats a killer price..

if your brothers such a pro then have him check the woofers out.

yooo!! Thanks for that second link! I always tried to stay away from buying amps or subs online from ppl I dont know but I called the chick and she says its legit... I kno anyone can SAY anything but its close and a couple hundred cheaper.. but Im definately checkin it out, but yea he can build boxes, but idk how it wud work with his schedule thats the only thing. because I want to just get this out of the way now. I could probably build one myself if i had a good design because I have the time to work on it now

go to a electrical store.. get yourself a digital multimeter and check the resistance of each coil if you go to buy em...

me personally id go for the power hx2s but thats just me..

every one is different but on mine make sure the positive lead is in the right socket on the meter then turn to ohms or resistance.. then touch the two probes together to zero it out then procede to put the positve on the postive and the negative probe on the negative terminal on the speaker and see what it reads.. if its a 4 ohm voice coil it should read very close to 4 ohms and if its a 2 ohm it sould read very close to 2 ohms
