But for maximum SPL, and porting it to 34 hz...what would be the best size of box to make, as in cubes? It's Going ot be a simple designed slot port MDF box with the sub facing the roof, and the port at the bottom of the face your looking at, when you open the back hatch in a 2008 Chevy HHR. I am ot sure what size ot make it, im thinking around 9.5 cubes would be good but not sure yet. I would appreciate anyone that has done this b4. thanks.
RamenNoodles Posted February 20, 2009 Report Posted February 20, 2009 I would do a way less smaller box, with much higher tuning. 34hz is more of a daily tuning style.
