Guest Posted February 22, 2009 Report Share Posted February 22, 2009 [id say nope but would suggest taking the bolt out, sand down the area a lil to make sure its all good. if the bolt is long enough id say put the ring terminal down first, then another washer, then the rest and make sure its tight. if not an option then go for plan B, new location for ground. just my thoughs i used medium coarse steel wool on the bar since it had some rust on it, took it right off. i tried it on the body panel, scrubbing it for a while and nothing came off so im guessing its already bare metal.
