jlgn_2000 Posted February 23, 2009 Report Share Posted February 23, 2009 what if i ran + from the front battery to the back battery +and ground to the car in the back and run it to the battery - i also have a 200 fuse up front and havent put the other 200 in the back... i have a 140amp circuit breaker (switch) it might not work..not sure You can do it that way, some people recommend doing 2 runs (+ to + and - to-) but you don't have to. Grounding the 2nd battery's negative to you car would be fine to. I have had it that way for 6 months and no problems. ChevyBoy Posted February 23, 2009 Report Share Posted February 23, 2009 what is your audio and video set up?toss the duralast, get a kinetik battyey maybe a hc1800 or anything better whatever your using,.. will suck power from the battery FIRST then the ALT will have to make the power and charge the battery back,.. based on what you have and how you use your system you can drain any battery down fast enough and the STOCK alt can not keep up, and it will always play catch up to keep the battery charged best at some point to get a good alt, and do a big 3 upgrade to help increase the volts id pass on the cap, use that money and save for a alt.. dont take short cuts and do it all in steps or youll pay in the end i would just stick with powermaster since thats what he started out with Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
