Colin - STAPUFT Posted February 26, 2009 Report Share Posted February 26, 2009 check out bigpimpn's "how to tell if a song is clipped" thread.... it clearly states that "leveling" or "normalizing" a track only decreases the amplitude of the wave (thanks to my pictures!), it is still a clipped wave no matter what u do to it, and will still cause damage at some pointwouldnt be bad if it was clean Very true... you are just lowering the volume on an already clipped track.
