If your buddy still has a lower level master track, maybe he can fix it- other than the clipping, pretty good. Def. more than I can do- which is nothing. Decaf Posted February 24, 2009 Report Share Posted February 24, 2009 I used both Audacity and MP3 gain to lower the level on this track, but the bass still sounds off because of the "boxed" waves. check out bigpimpn's "how to tell if a song is clipped" thread.... it clearly states that "leveling" or "normalizing" a track only decreases the amplitude of the wave (thanks to my pictures!), it is still a clipped wave no matter what u do to it, and will still cause damage at some point wouldnt be bad if it was clean Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
