Moore941 Posted February 24, 2009 Report Posted February 24, 2009 My back left door just stopped working so i was like o the wire must have been cut traced it from the door to the amp, no cuts but i replaced it anyway hooked it up nothing, so i was ok let me see what happens when i hook it up to a different doors terminals and it works what the hell is that all about, anybody had a similar problem cuz i can come up with a solution my next thing is just using a short piece of wire right by the amp to make sure its something about the speaker but idk bcuz the other speaker terminal i used is on the same output as the "bad speaker" i just though this was wierd. Moore941 Posted February 25, 2009 Author Report Posted February 25, 2009 try making sense and people might respond haha good point i just read that through and i see where it could only make sense to me haha sorry about that, well heres my problem the speaker wire i had running from the speaker to the amp orignally was not cut or broken that i could find but the speaker would not play at all, I plugged into another speaker's terminals running off the same channel on the amp and it played just was very quiet for some odd reason. so i reran a new wire to the location the speaker was at originally and still nothing no sure if its just the speaker or something i did but im positive the second wire i ran was fine but ill check when i get home, but anyboy got any input if that makes explination makes more sense because im stumped and if no input what about a new set of one way components because i like the seleniums and all there just a little pricy to keep having to replace seeing as ive blown two sets now... any input would be greatly appreciated. 2000 White Dodge Durango 5.9L Flowmaster 40 Series through 2 1/2" with and open cat. 1 Dc lvl5 18 4 6.5 seleniums and 2 D200 Selenium Horns on Rockford 500.2 Big three upgrade and a kinetik HC1800 in the back with all 1/0g knu wire shootin for 145+
