ChevyBoy
no, thats not too much. if you have a fuse on the amp (should), then you really DONT need a fuse there. but its not a bad idea
Mellow18
the amp doesnt have a fuse..its the old RF power BD1500.1..it reccomends 150amp fuse.. thanks for fast response =D Quote 2001 Black Monte Carlo SS chrome 20'' (1) Alpine i-9881 deck-ipod- (2) DC lvl 4XL 18''s-Walled- (1) DAT Hellfire - 2500.1-fused- (1) D3400 XS Power battery-fused- (2) CDT 6.5 comp (X) pioneer 6x9 set (1) RF T-400.4 (1) DC POWER ALT INSTALLED BY ROB FTW,Big3 (1) Viper 5901 Alarm + killer yorkies and chihuahas [EdgarCervantes] 4:31 pm: im in my room and out of nowere i hear bass im like oh shit sombody has bass in this city, i look out the window and its my mom bumping Gorilla Zoe
07sOnAtA sp.ed
front what i understand, you really only need 1 fuse, and that upfront, but if you want to be safe, a 2nd one can only help. I think running 3 is to much aka overkill... Mellow18
what do you mean by overkill Quote 2001 Black Monte Carlo SS chrome 20'' (1) Alpine i-9881 deck-ipod- (2) DC lvl 4XL 18''s-Walled- (1) DAT Hellfire - 2500.1-fused- (1) D3400 XS Power battery-fused- (2) CDT 6.5 comp (X) pioneer 6x9 set (1) RF T-400.4 (1) DC POWER ALT INSTALLED BY ROB FTW,Big3 (1) Viper 5901 Alarm + killer yorkies and chihuahas [EdgarCervantes] 4:31 pm: im in my room and out of nowere i hear bass im like oh shit sombody has bass in this city, i look out the window and its my mom bumping Gorilla Zoe

Bigg Boy
When it comes to fuses there is no such thing as overkill in my mind. Its like having to much car insurance, you can never have to many. thehoe92
I have got a 100amp..........100amp.........150amp my RF has one so if you already have the fuse throw it in. if not 2 is generally fine. the third one will protect any current going to the amp from the secondary battery. but if you have it like mine, in theory, the fuse on the RF should never pop because the first two inline should pop. 07sOnAtA sp.ed
overkill........ to many fuses when not needed exactly, two is on the safe side, but three just seem alil much to me thats all. Mellow18
ok so would this will be safe then...? keep the 200amp fuse under the hood after the first battery... then take the fuse i have infront of the second battery and put it before the RF amp instead or is 200amp too much for it??the amp is reccomended of 150amps... also i thought u needed a 2nd fuse infront of the 2nd battery to protect the 2nd battery?
