I don't need 2000w anyways......900 rms would be way more than I really need for right now......and if I have to I could run 2 of them down the road whenever I get funds to get better subs.

Are they good amps that hold up ? Clean?

I am only 15 so cash is hard to come by in large amounts for this type of stuff, lol.

im running the Bxi1208d (http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/Pr...ProductID=19580) and it does 1000-1100watts rms...dunno why the guy up there said they run 900 watts max . But yea its a great amp for the money, the clipping protection that it has is great and its dosent overheat or run hot at all. Just dont be stupid with it and it'll last you a while.

I guess I will try one out. I would love to get a more expensive amp but I don't want to drop all my money in car audio as my truck isn't that nice of a vehicle and insurance will only pay like $1000 if i get it totaled or stolen.

For the price I will try one.....if it doesn't work like I want I have enough friends that I am sure would take it off my hands.

How much of an "upgrade" would it be from a Alpine MRP-M350?

I will go ahead and order this come April and see how it does.

Thanks for the help guys.

why did i state it?

i stated it because ive bench tested many of them and installed probably 50 different ones for people whom dont want to pay for anything more then hifonics, same results every time. look all over the internet for more independant testing on any of the BXI series, i wouldnt take one persons word either that they are over rated.

I just got the 08 amp and I can't even get it to turn on... I just installed a new Kenwood DPX503, it provides 2-2.5volts, and the brutus still wont turn on, have any advice?
