Derek16 Posted March 2, 2009 Report Share Posted March 2, 2009 (edited) hey you guys, my name is Derek im 18 and i drive a 2006 black mint condition durango. i love listening to music and im looking into buying my first system in about a month. i no very little but know some basics. my friends friend is selling 8guage wiring kit with 2 12" RE subs with an 1100 watt jl audio crunch amp. 500$ is the price for everything. the 12"s come with the box. does anyone know if this system is a waste? im not cheap but if in your opinion its not a bad buy i would do it. i was looking at 2 12" level 3 dcs with an Audioque 1200 amp untill i heard about this. i would really apreciate some help??? SE,SX personally, i would do what you had in mind and rock DCs... whats your budget for your whole system? and are you trying to get loud or just have nice bass... Check Fi, DC (Personal Fav), DD, Audioque, RE, Rockford, JL, Kicker, T3, Cactus, Soundstream, ***, Sundown, Diablo Audio Technologies. They all make good equipment IMO. $1000 though? DC level 4xlD4 18 w/ AQ2200 @ 2 ohms, tuned however. Grab a $100 wire kit and slap a box together. You'll impress your friends and spare your wallet. I'd look into that.
