ikillsuckers
id look into either of these amps - hifonics, autotek, audioque, rockford fosgate, diablo audio technoligies subs - FI, RE, kicker, DC anything that is pretty reputable and def wanna run something more than 8awg wires like someone else said atleast 4awg to the amps power and ground my first system a few years ago which was pretty inexspensive was a 15' kicker l5 with a hifonics 1208 amp which was loud and sounded good
camino_1to3
1000 is for subs, amp, wiring, and box. That is plenty to make something loud despite what anyone will probably pop up and say in this thread. Do some research and don't jump then gun. Watch vids, listen to your friends setups, ask opinions, etc. Take the time to see what you would be intrested in. Another good choice sub that is very loud, lots of boom and great if you're not competing is the Kicker S15L7.
