nuboot Posted March 3, 2009 Report Share Posted March 3, 2009 i am gonna run 1 solox 18 in my trailblazer. right now i have it in 10cubes with an atomic 3000.1 wired at .5ohm its loud but not where i want it to be. so i am gonna try a differ box. has anyone ever heard this sub in a fourth order. i am thinking about 2.5 cubes sealed shooting into 12 cubes ported powered by a memphis 4kw. wired @ 2ohms daily and .5 for burps. electrical i got 150 amp alt. and five orange tops in the back it supports my atomic at .5 daily so it should be suffiencent for the memphis for burps. any suggestions on the build would be greatly appreciated HEADUNIT:Pioneer AVic d3 WIRING: 8 runs of 1/0 knu gnd and pwr BATTERIES: 1 shuriken bt80 upfront 4 in the back COMPONETS:powerbass 3xl in front dooors powerbass xl in back doors 6.5s AMPS: 2 powerbass xa3000d powerbass Asa 400.4 SUBS: 4 db drive plw 15s ENCLOSURE:12.7 cubes 32hz ALT: 150a stock for now VEHICLE:05 chevy trailblazer sitting on 24s iTRADER FEED BACK http://www.caraudioclassifieds.org/forum/itrader.php?u=1289 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If you dont build / design the box near perfect you will lose a lot of potential. They have better sensitivity within their bandpass and the response drops quickly outside of it.
