Zade08 Posted March 5, 2009 Author Report Posted March 5, 2009 Iv had the same stinger stage 2 rcas on my saz-3000d as I did my 1500d. The pioneer I had on it worked fine until it started making a huge hiss. Then I swapped it with the avh-4000dvd and it still had a small whine. Before this Iv had other problems in other cars with the rcas goin out. My first pioneer worked great for 6 months then made a hiss. Took it into bestbuy and swapped it out. That one made a worse hiss. Then I went back in one more time and the 3rd one never made a noise. I must just have bad luck with the pioneers. I did unplu my rcas from my head unit and run them off the deck in my brothers car and it didnt make a noise. So I definatly know that its the deck. 07sOnAtA sp.ed Posted March 6, 2009 Report Posted March 6, 2009 or try ground it by the amps in the back... i heard that's the optimal place to ground, id you get that hissing/alt wining noise Quote CURRENTLY UNDER RE-CONSTRUCTION 2008 Hyundai Sonata Team T3 Audio Team Deadly Hertz Team SMD (Street Motivated Devastation)
kingsuv Posted March 6, 2009 Report Posted March 6, 2009 It may not be so much that you need to ground the RCA's as much as you need to equalize the grounding between the 2. try using a set of RCA's with a drain wire and ground the 2 units. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it.
tacomabanga1986 Posted March 6, 2009 Report Posted March 6, 2009 hmm, i was told not to do it back at the amps cause it wouldn't work, and i tried it myself at the amps and it didn't work, only worked at headunit for me, anyways hope u get rid of that damn whine shit Quote here's a link to my system 99 toyota tacoma , 2 mtx 8000 1504's in a sealed downfire , 1000w memphis amp here's a link to my other system my 90 geo prizm test car heres a thread i got of new songs u can dl that are legal = Some Good Bangage/you Can Dl These Free And Legit
