creyc
I metered my truck today for the first time, previously I hadn't the faintest idea what kinda numbers I was doing. With the windows sealed up and meter on the dash I hit a 146dB With the windows sealed and the meter at the headrest I hit a 142dB This was done playing Jeezy - Prime Minister, which is about 44Hz I'm running two 15" Ascendant Audio Havocs off a SAZ-3000D. I know it's my first time measuring and I should expect a low number, but how are the numbers I posted for this setup on a first run? What is the "correct" way to measure? Also note, this system is for daily use tuned to the upper 30's, not an SPL box... 2001 Chevy Blazer (2) SAZ-3000Ds (2) custom 18" Madmax subs in a second row wall Rockford 600-4 Pioneer PRS components Pioneer P800PRS deck

Actually the car is only off in 4 of the 9 db drag classes. It's off in street a, b, c, and street max. The rest of the classes the car is allowed to be on. The measurements for the meter are 13" from the a pillar and 7" up from the dash. 2013 VW Jetta GLI 2.0 Turbo 1 Sundown Audio SCV2000 1 Sundown Audio X15 V2 1 XS Power D3100 Audio Control LC6i Stock Deck 146.4 sealed on the dash at 37hz 2001 Focus ZX3: RETIRED Team Sundown Audio, Team XS Power, 2 time NSPL Car 3601-Up Champion, 2 time NSPL Car Hardcore ChampionHighest NSPL Scores to date:154.3db on the dash sealed at 46hz, 156.2db in the kick at 46hz155.2db unofficial on dash at 43hz
