Need Help Wiring Aq Hdc3 15"

First you have to quit SCREAMING!!!!!! at people. You have to run the 1/0 through a distrobution block to to feed a smaller gauge wire into the amp, that's the only way to do it unless you get all new, smaller wire. As for your wiring problem, you haven't even told us what impedence the coils are.

couple reasons.

you can run two single voice coil subs off of it and you don't have to wire them as a pair.

you can wire up the coils individually on a dual voice coil sub if you want, etc, etc.

basically it gives you a little bit more options for wiring and ohm loads

yea my buddie is havin the same problem .. but he got a hdc3 15 d1 tho and an aq2200 .. same problem tho .. dunno how or the correct way to wire it to get it at 1ohm .. we ran -'s from amp to -'s on sub and +'s on sub to +'s on amp .. will that be at 1ohm? ..

btw the power and ground inputs on the aq2200 amp used 0 gauge so we didnt have no problem there i guess the 1200 didnt use 0 gauge inputs on that amp

Umm... no.

The two sets of postive and negative on the amp are internally bridged.

Congrats on not wiring it correctly.

EDIT: You and your friend wired the sub to show a 0.5ohm load at the amp...
