hey Steve i Showed a buddy of mine, he's a pro DJ, this thread. He said everything is nice especially the Crown amps. he said the Crown amps are 10 times lighter than QSC amps and less overheating problems, nice choice, he said Crown came out with the CGI amps for more "commercial" use, has more processing options and whatnot if u want to try that later on. Only real complaint he had about this whole setup was the Behringer. He said that was a huge step down for haveing all that nice equipment. But as long as Chickens happy then thats all good.

three things:

1) This was my first BIG house build. (loudspeakers like this)

2) I learned while doing this that SOME people have opinions about Behringer that arent the best but others think its not too bad. I used it to turn RCA into XLR and also a crossover. It does EXACTLY what it is supposed to do. Theres always bigger and better no matter HOW BIG you go so ill use what i learned this run and apply it to the next run.....feel me?

3) This setup kicks MAJOR ASS and he beats the shit out of it on the daily.......it sounds so clean, deep, responsive. Mids and highs are nothing short of spectacular......everything any of us would want. Thats what matters most.

waaay OT, but steve, your garage looks like mine, SHIT. But mine is a ton worse. i need to get some cleaning going on soooo bad.

actually my garage isnt that bad......just that one corner has some stuff. I mess it up but i usually clean it before my next mess and its not too bad. I dont do much work in there anymore though i do it in my new "work area" i made so people dont drive by while im working and either peep as they drive by or even worse stop LOL.

Also, at this point, i have way too much shit and i dont know what to do with it all. Most of my stuff isnt junk i have some decent "toys" in them their boxes

i would of been happy with just 1 15" BTL in my room let alone my car, nice work how much that whole setup cost (subs,amps,box)???

I dont think it would make a difference if u know the price or not. so why ask? But if you really want to know you can see all the stuff he bought and you can just google it & see for yourself.

i'm sure it cost a grip though, those Crown amps don't come very cheap.

Just one crown amp cost $700 or more if I'm correct. Just one amp and there is 3. You can imagine how much it costs. Edited March 18, 2007 by Nismofreak
