dwright27
whats the difference between the Fatmat Xtreme and the Fatmat Mega. Is it just the mill thickness or is it easier to lay etc.?? just wondering why 100 square feet of the mega costs over $100 more then the Xtreme. is it that much better? My plan is to do 3 layers on the floor of the truck, 3 layers on the back wall, and 3 layers on the roof at least, and 2 layers on the inner and outer skin of each door. gonna order 300 - 400 square feet, 100 square feet at the time. just waiting for my account to be credited with my refund to order the first 100 square feet. should i got with hushmat or is fat mat and hustmat not to different from each other?? jsmoke222000
I'm also in the market for some sound deadener. What is the best brand to use? My brother bought 2 50' rolls of some no name shit off of ebay & it seems to work ok. Is Dynamat better than hushmat? what should I look for? Mill thickness? I was really thinking of going with dynamat extreme on the roof of my tahoe. Sorry to hijack the thread. I just want to get some different opinions on this stuff. They do not stand behind their products & their customer service is horrible. They do not actually manufacture lowering springs, they drop ship them from Spring Tech. jsmoke222000
Has anyone had a problem with any of these products falling off or coming loose? We covered the roof of my brothers truck with 2 layers of that cheap shit he got on ebay. We cleaned the roof with acetone before putting it on. We used a heat gun to make it extra sticky & rolled it on with a solid wood roller. Well we took a peek under his headliner about 6 months later & it was coming loose in several places? Are some brands better than others in this area? Quote Jared Nixon A.K.A.
