slugdub
Its so crazy because all over Ebay there are varying price 4 AWG packets and some people show cross-sections and brag they have beefier wire and that others are ripping you off. Same thing when you call a local shop. They say beware shoddy wire. I just don't think that I should have to pay the $100+ they are asking, or even the $60 that a decent kicker kit costs. Shit thats almost as much as my speaker. Is there no middle-road, reliable kit? I don't even need the damn RCA, just grounds, positive, AGU/ANL, maybe a terminal and some extra speaker wire never hurts.
slugdub
I guess this is the only auction I feel I can trust (besides that kicker one) but I need to know what Primary Wire means... what is that? http://cgi.ebay.com/Tsunami-AMP1500-MANL-2...%3A1|240%3A1318 If its speaker wire, then I'm sold. I could use 32 feet of that. If not, then I may as well go with the kicker pack. All the damn pieces apart can be costly, so the kits are a deal. randomsuper
i think it all depends on your set up. if you aren't going with super high wattage, then power cable is power cable as far as i'm concerned and you don't need to worry about brand a vs brand b. it's not like you're straining anything in the first place. i used a scosche kit in my girls car and it works just fine and i payed like $40ish for it shipped. it even came with 2 sets of fairly decent rca's. slugdub
Good point. I'm only going to be on the lower edge of 4 gauge needs. In fact, 6 gauge would be enough, but 4 is just easier to work with because its as standard as 8.
95_1500
Pretty sure the primary wire is just the 18ga for the remote wire Quote Original Build http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/index.php?showtopic=24095

slugdub
Anyone see the wire on ebay that comes with free tweeters? I know nothing about tweets, but I know enough to be very scared of that auction.
