Well I like that you are adventurous, but honestly, they are a lot of work. And they are even worse if you don't know how to do them. I agree with the subs up port back, or both firing back. I guess I don't know where or how you plan on kerfing. I guess you could build a normal box and have one side of the sub as a port wall, but it'll be very tricky to build if you've never done it. Why not start with sub up, port sideways with the front of the box plexiglass with a decal and some LEDs? That would be MUCH easier for a starter and would probably look better. Just make sure the port is "behind" the sub so as not to affect view of the motor structure through the glass. How does that sound? Quote Need an install?
