Kicker Hyperflex Vs. Knu Kolossus Fleks Kable

Recommended Posts

I'm going to be buying 50 ft of 0 ga to run a second power cable to my batteries in my trunk as well as do up my Big 3. I have Kicker Hyperflex 0 ga in my car now and it does the job just fine. I'm wondering what your opinion is on which i should buy. The prices are roughly equal so price isn't a factor here. So let me know what you think, or if you have another, BETTER idea as to what i could do. I'm open to suggestions be it a different brand, a bigger gauge, etc. I want the best and i know i'm gonna hear it from the best on this forum. thanks much

well if i were you and already have kicker i would go with kicker just to have matching wire. and if the price isnt that big of a diffrence. thats just my opinion. i dont think there's that much of a diffence in strand count.

Thanks bro, i'm lookin for any and all opinions. Plus you are right with the matching, nobody likes to have mismatched wiring.

I have all Kicker wire and it works great... =]

I love my kicker wire, and it does work good. Thanks for the input bro

I've never had Knu wire before and coming from a guy who's tag is "Kicker Guy", i'd hope you had kicker wire, but thanks for the input bro.

Good to know, i've used generic wire before from my store and i wasn't too thrilled either, granted it was only 2 ga. lol

what made it so much "better"?

First it is a bit bigger, not by much but noticeable. My blazer is pretty easy to run wires but 2 spots are kinda a bitch and the kicker was easier to get through it meaning IMO more flexible. And with kicker my voltage drop was not as bad, granted its only .2 volts but still counts.
