A Very Cheap Way Of Getting Colored Lights.

Recommended Posts

This is for people who want there car to be a little different but don't want to spend a lot of money on there car.

I colored all the lights in my car and in my trunk red with a sharpie. When i say this it does sound very ghetto but when you step in the car at night it actually looks very nice.

I can show you pics of my car if anyone likes.

Once or twice I have missed having a back seat / rear hatch, but all in all people love to see a walled vehcile. It just screams "i'm not fucking around with my setup, im loud"

people did it all the time around me. They would use nail polish, spray paint and the hobby paints. They would not go over the cover, they went directly on the bulb. At first it is too dark but once the paint burns off a little it is much better.

With the price of LED lights it is not worth it anymore. You can pick up a 3 pack for like $14 if you look around. When I had my Civic I did everything but the gauges in blue LED's and it looked awesome at night with the Pioneer stereo lit up blue.

I'd like to find a black light that works from the current of the trunk bulb. Now that would be fun.
