it got warm once this last weekend but had it on loud for a long time trying to get gains right to hopfully fix problem but then tonight on the way home from work it turned off f and when i got home i checked to see if it was warm and it wasn't at all it was still cold

check your fusing. i had that same problem with mine tonight. all of my wires and ground are working perfectly, so i checked my fuse. it hadnt blown yet, but it had begun warping from the power it was getting and it was sending my amp into protect. im only running 300rms right now at a 4ohm load.

check all your fuses look to see if there is any melting or burn marks

on them and if it looks to be in any kind of damage replace it. Also if

its just melting and changing the coppers colors from heat most likely

your running to big of a fuse.

just checked all the fuses they all look like new

idk how it could be the ohm load because iv had it for like 4 or 5 months and everyting worked goodd till now

Do you understand ohm laws and what an amp stable ohm load means?

I'd still recommend double checking your ohm loads.

Single or dual voice coil subs?

What ohm for each coil?

What wiring between each coil?

What wiring between each sub to amp?

another thing it could be is lack of power?

check your 12v connection and if you have a dmm

check how much power your amp is seeing i know its only 400w

but you could have a bad battery connection.

that could be it the insulation could be rubbed off causing the

wires to rub on the door and power is being grounded off there

or something like that i would check that asap
