tacomabanga1986 Posted March 28, 2009 Report Posted March 28, 2009 well i got done puttin a system in my friends car, 2 soundstream rfw-10's ina prefab box, ran by a bazooka 500d and its jammin, but she got a set of pg rsd 6&1/2 coax's for the fronts and i dont kno how to get the door pannel off, i took out all the screws i could find, and pryed like hell and still nothin, anyone kno how to take em off? here's a link to my system 99 toyota tacoma , 2 mtx 8000 1504's in a sealed downfire , 1000w memphis amp here's a link to my other system my 90 geo prizm test car heres a thread i got of new songs u can dl that are legal = Some Good Bangage/you Can Dl These Free And Legit
Chrisn077 Posted March 28, 2009 Report Posted March 28, 2009 Pull off the tweeter surround (it is clipped in), and remove the screw behind there. The pull handle for the door separates, and there are 2 screws behind there (just on the pull part - not the armrest itself). Remove the screw that is in the door handle (to open the door), pull that out and turn/unclip the door latch and lock rods, unplug the power lock button, and set that aside.Remove the screws around the edge of the panel at the bottom. After that, the panel lifts straight up and pulls off. Of note - don't tear the vapor barrier plastic behind the door any more than is needed... it is tremendously expensive to replace because of the seal. 18" DC Level 4
