Colin - STAPUFT Posted July 29, 2012 Author Report Posted July 29, 2012 Just put in 4 more of these: http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=275-025 Put 4 in the front- 2 on each side. Cut holes in the plate I made and flushed them in. Then put the factory Grills back on there. I am running these off of the Kenwood Deck's front channels. They are 6 ohm tweeters that DMM at 6.5 ohms. I wired them in series at 13 ohms and used a 2.2 microfarad capacitor to get a -6 db roll-off at @5500 hz. They are louder than you would think! More importantly, they play very clean and and a lot of ambiance- without being overpowering. Total speaker count.... 42. I think that may be it for a long long while. I need to get crackin' on the electrical again. 12 - 12"s in the STAY PUFT 1989 Chevy Astro Build & Comment Log Un-Interrupted Build LogYouTube Channel Chevy Trailblazer 5.1 Dolby Digital DTS Install You have a beard of a mysterious sea captain. Omega5002 Posted August 4, 2012 Report Posted August 4, 2012 Still loving the van man, wish I could hear it in person, and for running all that power on one regular battery, it seems to hold up pretty well. 2003 Kia Sorento Team Subsonic LowsTeam Bassin' on a Budget2016 Rebuild Under Construction Best score: 150.2 at 40hz (3k, 2 Custom HDC3 15's) Usaci style(door open, in the kick)

Thanks brother! Yeah... I am very surprised it does as well as it does with just the one battery. If it had proper amperage to back everything up, the bass would be dangerous. lol Well- not really, but it would be much more impressive. Those Hifonics Amps pull some juice and they like it at 14 volts. It has electrical deficits for sure- that is why the fuses blew during my run in the lanes (and why output dropped by one tenth every 4-5 seconds). Psh- before I put the second alternator in, there were voltage drops so bad that my relays would trip and different parts of the system would cut off. lol 12 - 12"s in the STAY PUFT 1989 Chevy Astro Build & Comment Log Un-Interrupted Build LogYouTube Channel Chevy Trailblazer 5.1 Dolby Digital DTS Install You have a beard of a mysterious sea captain. Omega5002 Posted August 8, 2012 Report Posted August 8, 2012 Think it would make a good future plan to beef up the battery bank, you definitely got the alternator amperage to support what you're running, think having a battery power storage to match would do wonders for your electrical. Think it may also get you to 150 cause I seen Chillmasterwill go from a 148 to a 150 just by adding another battery, though I don't know if that always happens but it's always good to hope. 2003 Kia Sorento Team Subsonic LowsTeam Bassin' on a Budget2016 Rebuild Under Construction Best score: 150.2 at 40hz (3k, 2 Custom HDC3 15's) Usaci style(door open, in the kick)
