00_XJ
You gotta remember performance doesn't=cheap I'd start with some simple bolt-ons though, then maybe a chip, after that you're not going to get much for cheap Quote 2000 Jeep Cherokee -DC Audio -Memphis -Audioque -SecondSkin -Pioneer -KnuKonceptz
white4d96
If it's anything like my 3.1 'Prix, rip the airbox out and put a cone in, you can get a cheapo at an auto parts store for like $20, it cut a second off my 0-60. Otherwise, look at GTP parts- exhausts, headers, etc...If there's a pull-a-part by you, try scoring a whole GTP drivetrain. That would make it super easy to build power, if you really needed more than what that will give you. Quote Too many projects, too little time... Boon
Letting it breathe easier is usually cheap and fairly effective... so intake and exhaust Quote 10.x volts fo' life!
2000s-10
is it a gtp? or just a gt. if its a gtp intake exhaust and a smaller supercharger pulley headers and a chip. i would do it in that order. if its just a gt. then all that besides the pulley obviously . Colin - STAPUFT
And low resistance plug wires and the best & hottest plugs you can find. A MSD coil would help too. For combustion you need air, fuel, and fire. Just upgrade the factory stuff as a part of your routine maintenance. stretchnutz78
doing cheap is the same as an amp. is usually a dollar a watt, mechanically cheapest would be to drop a k&n filter in, mess with the exaust, so on. 83GT50
Cut the airbox, its free and it will breathe better...but it looks ghetto (but it is a little noticeable). And like a few others said, go to pull n save or whatever and get the supercharged engine out of a bonneville or a GTP and the wiring harness, those are a pretty aggressive little car from factory.
