Idk, ive had the same thing happen to me before. think about what would happen if you put a ball of wax on a drum and tried to play it. Id say thats about the same thing that would happen in your ear when ear wax gets piled against the drum. Id say try some safe home-removal ear wax thing before spending $$$ on a doctor visit... CodyB Posted March 31, 2009 Report Posted March 31, 2009 Ear infections suck, I used to have thim so often that I am now alergic to the common treatment meds, But it sounds pretty much like your throat infection has led to an inner ear infection, especially if your off balance or dizzy a lot. Anyway, anytime I get a head cold, my sinus' get all fudged up and I can't hear worth a crap. My ears are the last thing to clear up after a cold. Once you get the gunk out, you'll be fine.
