Its going to be 4 cubes. How much port area should I give it and what should it be tuned too? do 16sqin of port for every cubic foot of your box. so do 16x4=64sqin so get as close to 64sqin as you can and id say tune it to round 32-36hz and that should make you more than happy:) how much power you have for the sub too? Nightshade
My opinion would be to build the box to 3.5 cubes and do 50 sqin of port which is 14.3 sqin per cuft and should be enough. What kind of vehicle is it going into? That makes the difference on where to fire the sub and port to. If it's a hatch try either sub up and port back, or sub up and port to the driver's side. If it's a trunk car then sub foward port to the driver's side, or the good old sub back port back. If it's a truck then do sub up port up for the best results or even sub up and port to the driver's side. I'm really telling you that 4 cubes is a little too big for a 15" woofer and you'll be more impressed with what it can do in 3.5 cubes. 2013 VW Jetta GLI 2.0 Turbo 1 Sundown Audio SCV2000 1 Sundown Audio X15 V2 1 XS Power D3100 Audio Control LC6i Stock Deck 146.4 sealed on the dash at 37hz 2001 Focus ZX3: RETIRED Team Sundown Audio, Team XS Power, 2 time NSPL Car 3601-Up Champion, 2 time NSPL Car Hardcore ChampionHighest NSPL Scores to date:154.3db on the dash sealed at 46hz, 156.2db in the kick at 46hz155.2db unofficial on dash at 43hz
