If you look close, you will see a little prop holding the subs up for display purposes. I added the hinges because in Daytona nobody even knew I was running Sundown amps. Doesn't help Jacob/Sundown any when I compete any no one knows the brand of amps in the car. I've learned a lot since then. Thanks to a lot of trial and error and a lot of good advice from fellow competitors. I remember that day well. It was the 1st time I ever broke out of the 139.9 class. Not because I was that good, but because I was never loud enough. I would just turn it wide open and wait my 30 secs. Now, Bass Race is a lot more fun.
