Diy Turbo Kit Fuel System

I want know does anyone how to route the fuel system for a turbo kit? I know there's different ways to to it depending on the app. but I just wanna know the basic/tricks of the setup. Why? Cuz I want like to build some custom turbo kits for production once I open up my shop.

Hey dude..hit me up on IM and I can piont you in the right direction. There are some guys in the diesel world who actually make a living by producing turbos. I'm not sure what you are wanting to do with the fuel system in combination with the turbo, but I know 2 guys off hand in which can get you some pretty definately answers.

I've already talked to one of the guys about it and well, he chuckled and about hung up the phone on me. Guess he isn't a fan of chargers...i'll see if I can get his attention again.

but superchargers are the shit... lol but i actually found someone in my area that can tune cars so now the idea of twincharging is sorta possible (still need to research, save money for parts ect but now i dont have to worry about not being tuned)

Not trying to discourage you...but I really wouldn't waste the time on twincharging. It sounds like a good idea, but with how new it is and how much it is going to cost between parts, labor, tuning, upgrading your powertrain and tranny (to hold the power) and clutching the charger you pretty much just bought a new motor....and at the end of the day, you still have a 4 cylinder.

In my honest opinion....taken the experience that I have ripping motors apart, replacing parts, fixing parts..etc. I'd go buy a small block crate motor (like a 305 or something), team it up with a decent tranny, uprade the powertrain and you'll have more power out of the gate and still be able to upgrade it, vs putting a 4 cylinder to it's limits and risking breaking it.

ahh that would be nice... i would love something like a ls1 or ls7 but i doubt a v8 would fit my engine bay

It will fit with ease. My first car was a 96 cavalier and I stuffed a 305 in it. I only had to do 2 true mods.

1) have my buddy weld me up some engine mounts. (Simple)

2) due to the air intake I put on it, I had to get a ram air type hood (cheap)

The car was an auto tranny, so I just teamed it up with a decent 4 spd tranny and that car ripped.
