Just Installed Kinetik1400

Recommended Posts

Did you replace the existing or add it in the back?

And x2 on what difference do you mean?

What kind of battery do you have up front? I've seen cases where the front battery (no matter how much hype ppl give em) brings down the overall voltage and affects the performance of the system.

Try putting a Kinetik under the hood as well, and I bet you'll have more stable and higher voltage. But it really could boil down to the alt as well... Never rule that out.

Just so you know I'm not bullshitting, I had a bank of 4 HC2400s in the rear. Even with MLA module, my voltage wouldn't go > 13.9. It turned out my brand new Optima Yellow Top was the problem. I switched it out with 2 HC1400s and my voltage jumped to 14.8-15.0 idling.
