newls1 Posted April 12, 2009 Report Share Posted April 12, 2009 Hey everyone, been a while since i've posted last, however im starting to get back to fine tuning my setup and noticed on Fi's website they have a new option called hyper pole piece (or close to that) and was wondering is the new 09 model much better then the 08 models? I ordered my 2 18" BL's mid year in 08 (August 08) and it is fully loaded with every option and cooling etc.. they still sound excellent, but was wondering if selling them and buying these new models are even worth the time? newls1 Posted April 15, 2009 Author Report Share Posted April 15, 2009 Does anyone possibly know this answer? I hate having the feeling that what I bought a few months ago is now a piece of shit. Are the new BL's that "MUCH" better? My version of the BL's I have have the tinsel leads into the spider, like these new ones, and have all the upgraded options as-well. Should I just keep what I got, or upgrade to the new ones? Each of my BL's are seeing ~1200watts a piece. The new ones have more motor strength and apparantly bridge the gap a bit more between the BL and BTL, so are they better in a word - yes. Are your old ones poo now ? no.
